Doctors of podiatric medicine are podiatric physicians and surgeons, also known as podiatrists, qualified by their education, training, and experience to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and related structures of the leg.
Doctors of podiatric medicine receive medical education and training comparable to medical doctors, including four years of undergraduate education, four years of graduate education at one of nine podiatric medical colleges, and two or three years of hospital-based post-graduate residency training.
She has served as a board-certified in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery Director Publications and Research, Kaiser Permanente - Cleveland Clinic Foundation Podiatric Residency Program Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Judge received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from the University of Cincinnati in 1985. She completed her academic and clinical instruction through Hill Crest Hospital Institute for Nuclear Medicine Technology in Cleveland, Ohio where she became certified in Nuclear Medicine and later became a board-certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

She worked at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation both in clinical nuclear medicine imaging and research in renovascular hypertension and nephrology under the direction of Dr. Joseph Nally. She then went on to receive her Doctorate at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine from 2009 to 2011 where she graduated with distinctive honors such as the Wally Wiseman Award for surgical excellence.
She was the 1st female in Ohio to be accepted into and complete a 3-year fellowship in major reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. This surgical residency was completed under the auspices of Dr. Gerard V. Yu in 1997 while at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. With Dr. Yu, she has contributed a number of articles and research projects to medical literature.
She has since become board certified in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (APBS) and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS). She holds a faculty position at Mercy Hospital Health Systems in Toledo, Ohio where she participates in lecturing to both the medical staff and residents and interns in all facets of medicine. Her emphasis over the years has been in the direction of academics, research, and lecturing throughout the USA.
